Sisemed presents a typical day on the job for future first clinical electromedicine graduates

Institut Marina Yesterday, Sisemed took part in an information day at the Institut Marina school in La Llagosta on the characteristics and duties of electromedical technicians, in both the hospital environment and in medical technology manufacturing companies.

Xavier Pardell, Head of Sisemed Medical Technology at Clínica Diagonal, was invited, as a leading specialist on the subject, to tell the sizeable group of teachers and students in attendance about the typical day of an electromedical technician.

Pardell said, "the students were really interested and they seem very committed to the development of the discipline and the session led to a very entertaining discussion in which the majority of the attendees took part".

The Institut Marina school in La Llagosta is the first school in Spain to offer the Advanced Vocational Training Diploma in Clinical Electromedicine with the support of the Department of Education of Catalonia, FENIN and the SEEIC.
