Sisemed attends the General Assembly of the Spanish Federation of Healthcare Technology Companies

Edificio de oficinasSisemed has attended the traditional General Assembly of the Spanish Federation of Healthcare Technology Companies (Fenin), which takes place each year at the end of the year and where it is used to review the achievements of the current year and present the objectives and lines of work for the coming year.

Fenin represents more than 80% of the health technology sector in the Spanish market, which generates 25,500 jobs and 7,800 million in turnover. Founded in 1977, it was born with the mission of bringing together Spanish companies in this sector, coordinating and defending their general interests and showing their representation before the regional, national and European authorities. Sisemed has been part of the employer's association since its inception and is an active member in the sectors of Technology and Clinical Information Systems and Digital Health.

Special mention has been made for its work as a medical technology hub in the crisis that arose from the Covid19 pandemic, and in initiatives such as the new regulation of medical devices and Brexit, innovative public procurement, value-based purchasing, obsolescence of the medical technology park and maturity of digital health in Spain.
