Data processing and robotic surgery current challenges of innovation in health
Sisemed has participated in the ICT Innovation Seminar in health sector, organized by CTecno and the Digital Cluster with the purpose of discussing the impact of technology in the field of health, both from the point of view of data treatment as of technology applied to surgery.
Special interest has offered this second discussion table moderated by Dr. Balcells (Health Commissioner of Leitat), where referents such as Ramon Martori (Chief Medical Officer of Olympus Iberia), Dr. Gonçal Lloveras (General Manager of Clinic Diagonal), Dr. Vicenç Martínez (Manager of Vall d'Hebron University Hospital) and Pau Rodríguez (CEO of Methinks) showed their particular vision of the latest innovations in surgery.
Artificial intelligence, augmented reality and robotic surgery may be the focus of international debate and are keys to medicine development, but experts agreed that it is necessary to continue working on "primary" medicine, oriented to results and effective cost.
The Auditorium of the TecnoCampus of Mataró has been the site chosen by the organizers and hosted about 200 attendees.
