The sustainability of the model stars in the 3rd edition of the cycle "SNS transformations"

Sisemed has attended the third edition of the transformacionesymejorassistemasalud.com/, where we have reflected on the sustainability of the model itself, both from an economic and social perspective. Candela Calle, General Director of the Institut Català d'Oncologia, Jose Jesús Martin, Professor of the Department of Applied Economics of the Universidad de Granada and Patricia Alonso, Doctor of the Admission and Clinical Documentation Service of the Hospital Clínico San Carlos de Madrid, have been the experts invited to the debate, moderated by Yolanda Puiggrós, Partner of Healthcare & Life Sciences at Roca Junyent.

In the opinion of the experts consulted, the health system must be focused on people and their well-being, and incorporate concepts and policies related to equality, accessibility, integration, prevention, chronicity management, environmental measures and financing to ensure their implementation of the objectives and actions proposed.

This cycle of conferences is an initiative originated by the main actors of the National Health System and endorsed by EIT HealthFundación SignoItemas and Sedisa,, where different experts and recognised health sector authorities share different points of view and recommendations on the need for transform our health system and how to improve its governance.
