Sisemed updates corporate image

Sisemed has started the ball rolling to update its corporate image as a result of international expansion and consolidation of belonging to the Costaisa Group, market leader for business consultancy, information technologies and service outsourcing in the health sector.

"We believe that this branding strategy is the best way to communicate that we offer a range of services that include most of an organisation's needs in biomedical equipment management: consultancy, support, technical assistance and maintenance engineering", stated Laia Llunas, General Manager.

"Servicios Integrales de Soporte a la Electromedicina, SL", now Sisemed, was founded in April 2010 as a result of the need to offer a comprehensive, professional biomedical equipment maintenance service. In recent years, it has grown rapidly, becoming present throughout Spain and Portugal and has started its international expansion in Latin America, opening an office in Chile.

This success has also been due to accreditation processes that endorse the technical and management teams' rigour and professionalism. As such, the company has obtained the ISO 9001 for Quality Management Systems, 13485 for Quality Management Systems - Requirements for regulatory purposes and 14001 for Environmental Management Systems. Furthermore, the company received authorisation from the Spanish Nuclear Safety Council and is registered on the Industrial Safety Agents Register in Catalonia (RASIC).
