Congreso SCGSThe Catalan Society for Healthcare Management (SCGS) held its first Congress in Sitges, Barcelona, focused on patient experience and value-based care, but where there was also space for debate reserved for healthcare infrastructures, with a review of how technology, and in particular medical technology, has been evolving in society and in the provision of healthcare services.

The invited experts highlighted the importance of new technologies in the field of biotechnology and robotics, new construction materials and sensors for facial recognition and self-examination integrated with Health Information Systems (HIS), among others.

Sisemed was also present at the congress and paid special attention to the opportunities offered by associating this type of technology in our hospital electromedical services and after-sales service to the medtech manufacturers we work with in Spain and now also in Portugal.

The premiere was a success since it was attended by more than 900 people representing the main players in the sector (Administration, health providers, service providers, industry and associations), and it has already announced its reissue in 2024.
