Sisemed collaborates in a classroom-based session on the course on sterile rooms organised by Hospitecnia
Sisemed, promoter of the online training course "Operating Theatres and other Sterile Rooms", fostered and managed by Hospitecnia and Unique, respectively, participated in the webinar that was recently undertaken to guide the students on an exercise, which they will have to present at the end of the course.
The aim of the course is to pass on knowledge about the special conditions required in planning these rooms in which the level of hygiene and asepsis inside them is fundamental, as well as the impact they have on those who use them: patients and professionals.
The e-learning course lasts four months and finalises with a final project that entails applying some of the knowledge acquired on the course to an area or zone of their choice that is located within a hospital or healthcare centre that they know or work in.
At the end of the course, the students will obtain a University Extension Certificate, equivalent to 3 ECT credits, issued by the Institute for Lifelong Learning of the University of Barcelona (IL3-UB).
