Sisemed vindicates the role of medical technology on World Patient Safety Day
Today is World Patient Safety Day and Sisemed has wanted to join the cause and claim the importance of taking care of the medical technology that provides services to patients to ensure that their use and condition are optimal, so that the results are correct.
In the opinion of José Antonio Rodríguez Leyva, General Manager of the company, "we have a firm commitment to guarantee patient safety and to take advantage of the potential of new IoT technologies, machine learning and big data, especially- that allow us to monitor all our activity and the medical technology park under our care."
Since it began its activity in 2010, Sisemed has carried out more than 50 thousand interventions, both scheduled (preventive and technical-legal) and unscheduled (corrective, poor performance, etc.), where it has managed to maintain a very high functionality degree of the equipment in their ongoing maintenance contracts, close to 98%.
This magnificent result has been made possible by the company's excellent team of medical technology professionals and by the collaborative management model that has been implemented and involves all parties: manufacturers, hospital services and our technical assistance team.
