Present and future of electromedicine meet at Rio Tinto with the help of SEEIC and Sisemed

Xavier Pardell en clase de formación de electromedicina en Rio TintoXavier Pardell, Head of Medical Technology at Sisemed in Clínica Diagonal and member of the Board of Directors of the Spanish Society of Electromedicine and Clinical Engineering (SEEIC), has been invited to perform a masterclass for students of the Higher Degree Training Cycle of Clinical Electromedical at IES Cuenca Minera de Riotinto, which has been designed in Dual mode.

The students had the opportunity to know the underground of a profession that is key to the smooth running of a hospital, and that in recent years has begun to regulate. Pardell has been one of the main drivers of the specialty in Spain, after more than 20 years of professional experience and having been responsible for this service at the Vall d'Hebron Hospital, among other centers, and Diagonal Clinic in Barcelona where he is currently the responsible.

Pardell told the students the day to day of an electromedicine professional in Sisemed, both in his role as responsible for the maintenance of hospital electromedicine, as well as the after-sales service of medical equipment manufacturers, because it benefits the student to know all professional development areas that are being offered through the training they are receiving.
